'Tee's Diaries' portray her weekly sagas all in the life of a single parent, divorcee, employee, housekeeper and a thirty-something woman looking for love, or at least a little romance. But how does Tee (once blonde, now brunette) find time in her busy little world?
Read how Tee spends her days (and some nights) trying to juggle between life, friends and her bizarre parents, not to mention her greatest chum 'Inky The Dog' and his random escapades. All of this whilst trying to recognize that her much loved 'teenage' sons 'Jes & Adam' are no longer in need of group hugs and peanut butter sandwiches.
Tee's only solace is found with 'Sean & Mike', her adoring gay friends, and their extraordinary night life in Birmingham. Tee discovers her own fan club and lots of gorgeous bottoms to look at! Sadly, ones that cannot be touched or bitten, but she can dream, and Tee Foley does a lot of that ... but do these dreams ever come true?
So come on! take a trip into 'The Extraordinary World of Tee Foley' and read some of her amazing doodles.
Featured here you will also find 'Bad Dates & Strange Mates' - see if you too have met any of these doomed specimens! Also, 'The Revolting Adventures of Dotty & Stella': two haggard old ladies who reside in 'Smoked Salmon Cottage' with 'Percy', their butler whose best friend is none other than 'The Queen of England', and he street skates.
Well, this is the boring bit; I won’t waffle on for too long so don’t go away! Firstly thank you for dropping by and I would be interested to hear how you discovered this site. Have you met me?
Was I sober, in a pub/club or restaurant, walking the woof or trying to squeeze into something in a dressing room? Maybe I was having lunch somewhere, people watching? Either way, I do hope we can stay in touch, so please come back regularly!
Tee: a strange name. Well, yes it is quite odd but it is my nickname. My real handle is Tracey, but I hate it. There is a stigma attached to the ‘Tracey and Sharon’ jokes and God help you if your name is Kevin or Dave because sadly these too were popular names in the 60s and somewhat over used - sorry, but true guys, however you could become Kee and Dee. Just take the first initial and put a couple of vowels on the end, seems the in thing to do these days!
Oh yes, back to me. Well I am 40 this year (gemini - ouch) although Tee Foley in many of her diaries is a thirty something years of age character. You know what it’s like, inside you feel like you are still 30 but the mirror tries to convince you otherwise and BOY is it scary when age creeps up and grabs you from behind (nice thought in some respects)!!
Foley is my grandmother’s maiden name so after my divorce I decided to adopt it, as my deceased granny is still my icon so God bless her.
I say I am writer, but my passion is people, all walks of life. Individuals are so gorgeous and everybody has a story and everything has a reason - we just have to stand still for long enough to find out what it is.
February 2004, after my dad became seriously unwell with a heart condition, I decided to gamble with fate, giving up full time employment to go into my head and find the somewhat doubtful writer from within. It was time to follow my heart, as you never know when that emotional muscle will give up on you and then it’s too late!
I dabbled around with a few articles and different websites only to find that it is a minefield of exploitation out there. Hence I decided to save on disappointments and postage stamps by getting straight to my target audience by cutting out the middle bit which brings me here with you now!
I guess Tee Foley’s Website is for all of us to take pleasure in being incredibly childish. Eventually making the most of active forums and message boards where you will all be able to contribute your tales while making many new online chums.
I would like you to keep dropping by because the Internet is a market place of sheer confusion where we can be thrown terrifyingly into a virtual world, not having a clue where to begin! There seems little for those in their mid 20s to 40s to let off steam and discover like minded friends; to share the perils and joys (in that order) of parenting or simply being single in an ever-increasingly high-speed world where people seem to find little time to slow down and build solid bridges. I do hope to originate a good community here at this site so please be a part of it and drop me a line. It won’t be long before you receive your first newsletter.
So for now - Tally Ho and Chin Chin!!
And let's not forget our new web designer. Kate Brown has created all of Tee Foley's pages with the help of no other magic wands !! A MASSIVE WARM WELCOME TO KATE AND ALL OF HER FABULOUSLY CLEVER DOODLES !!
